Ceremony as Climate Action
Monday, Sept 22 - 6:00 pm-7:30 pm
Event Overview
As the world prepares for COP30 in Brazil, this gathering offers a space for spiritual grounding and collective reflection. Jacob will share stories and insights from the delegation’s international work, focusing on the moral and spiritual imperatives of this moment in human history.
Join us for an event led by Jacob Johns (Hopi & Akimel O’odham) Executive Director of A Wisdom Keepers Delegation—a global collective of Indigenous knowledge holders, activists and youth working to bring ancestral wisdom into the heart of climate policy.
Jacob will speak to the delegation’s mission to safeguard humanity by aligning climate policy with sacred teachings—those known as the Original Instructions, carried by Indigenous Peoples across generations and continents. These teachings offer a pathway forward rooted in relationship, balance, and right action with the Earth.
